Requirements:

• Strong analytical decision making, problem solving, oral and written communication skills.

• Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize case load with limited supervision.

• Demonstrated abilities in time management and establishing priorities. Ability to organize data and write concise investigative reports.

• Working knowledge of criminal and civil justice systems.

• Ability to use various computer systems to include but not limited to; Word, Excel, Outlook, and various database search systems.

• Must possess a valid driver’s license with an excellent driving record.

• Willingness to travel, to include possible overnight stays for extended periods of time and work irregular days and hours as required.

• Prefer four years of insurance related experience or three years of law enforcement experience and two years of insurance related experience. Will also consider five years of law enforcement experience.

• An Associate Degree plus a minimum of two years insurance related experience. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

Description:

SpyMyHeart has an opportunity for an Investigator in its Investigations division.

As a Investigator in the Investigations division you will be responsible for the following:

• Investigates allegations involving insurance claims or insurance related activities covering all lines of business involving claimants, agents, brokers, attorneys and medical providers, etc. for the pursuit of appropriate remedies through the civil or criminal justice system.

• Gathers facts on issues in question through interviewing and statement taking of employers, claimants and other relevant witnesses.

• Investigates allegations of infidelity claims or relationship related activities.

• Conducts surveillance as needed.

• Prepares objective and concise written reports of investigations.

• Obtains physical and documentary evidence to support investigations.

• Testifies and presents evidence at administrative and criminal court proceedings as required.

• Establish and maintain professional working relationships with Insurance Companies, claimants, witnesses, attorneys, corporate employees, criminal justice agencies, and the general public.

• Provide prompt courteous customer service to our internal and external customers to include timely contacts with employers, complainants and others.

• Complies with all regulatory and compliance standards including reporting all suspect claims in jurisdictions where required.

• Establishes and maintains professional working relationships with SpyMyHeart insured’s, attorneys, corporate employees, and the criminal justice agencies.
