Job Description

PRIMARY PURPOSE:

It is the primary responsibility of the Pit Clerk to assist the Table Games Department by completing tasks that aid in the operations of the gaming tables. It is the responsibility of the Pit Clerk to deliver on our company's brand by using our SHOW Guest Service standards with all customers and coworkers.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Pit Transactions - Assist Table Games with all marker functions, securing markers and during system downtimes assist Table Games
  • Title 31 - Monitor and report cash transactions using our Title 31 system, verify reporting requirements are on file • Assist Table Games with the completion of error notifications
  • Patron Management – Creation and updating of accounts, printing Mlife cards, scanning customer ID’s, entering manual ratings and entering comps
  • Interact with guest and coworkers using our SHOW service standards
  • Perform other job-related duties as requested
  • Answer phones in Pits
  • Assist IT Department in the maintenance of all equipment

PREFERRED:

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Six (6) months data entry experience

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

  • Nevada Gaming Registration

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Ability to sit/stand for long periods
  • Basic knowledge of computer software to include Outlook, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint as well as office equipment, i.e. telephone, copier, fax machine
  • Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms
  • Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts
