Payroll Analyst Jobs

ProNexus is seeking an experienced Payroll Analyst for Interim services on a remote basis with a hospital client. This candidate should have a background in accounting with 2+ years of payroll experience in hospital/healthcare or large organizations.

Summary:

Under direction of the Payroll Manager, the Payroll Analyst is responsible for supporting the payroll HCM systems. This includes, but is not limited to, the Payroll Oracle Cloud system and Automated Time and Attendance system. The Payroll Analyst acts as a resource to management and staff in the development of reports, tracking, and in the development and implementation of other computerized tools. Assists in all phases of education and training of users.

Essential Functions:

• Backfill day to day of Payroll and ATA as needed.
• Services as a member of the project team during planning and implementation phases for application initiatives. Serves as lead in assigned functional implementations. Tests new releases/updates of the application in a test environment and establishes live set-up based on test results.
• Develops materials and/or adapts to existing materials for end user training for ATA and general payroll functions.
• Produces reporting as required: prepares ad hoc reports for users from wither the ATA or HCM systems, writes custom reports from either system to assist all employees.
• Assists the HCM Payroll team, Payroll Manager, and Sr. Finance Leaders to develop plans for proposed systems development, and system maintenance.
• Acquires and maintains a basic understanding of the functions of different users of the payroll HCM and ATA systems to effectively relate to user requirements / problems to technology-based solutions. Demonstrates a willingness to serve as a resource person in the department to advise managers on payroll and ATA system issues.
• Performs all testing of the new codes within ATA and the HCM/Payroll system. Assists in developing ATA tip sheet communications for managers and timekeepers concerning usage of new codes and new or changing procedures.

Experience:

• Hospital industry experience preferred
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
• Intermediate Excel skills
• 2 years of experience in Payroll
• 1 year experience with electronic HCM/Payroll systems, preferably Oracle cloud.
