The main responsibilities of this role include:
- Generate sales revenue to meet or exceed assigned sales projections by giving interactive sales visits to customer locations.
- Prepare and deliver bids for customers with a follow up report to sales manager.
- Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures
- Work in conjunction with operations personnel to ensure above expected customer services are achieved.
- Work with technical support and customers to ensure completeness and accuracy of information.
- Assist in credit worthiness assessments and collection of all delinquent accounts.
- Attend functions when necessary to keep in contact with customer.
- Perform other work related tasks as assigned.
- Communicate and strategize with the sales team on all related client issues.
- Maintain contact with an established customer base; identify and establish new clients.
- Evaluate market requirements and competitor capabilities.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
- 5 years of experience relating to sales and marketing is required.
- High School diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Have a current and valid drivers license.
- Knowledge of NOV products an asset
- Must have good verbal and written communication skills in order to interface with both internal and external customers.
- Possess computer skills and MS Office experience.
- Be on call 24/7.
- Must be able to travel within their assigned region.
- Knowledge of Oil and Gas land drilling operations.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs.

- Must operate within a team.
TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES
- Must have basic mechanical understanding.
