Organic Lab Analyst / Chemist

ACZ Laboratories, Inc. (http://acz.com) is an environmental testing laboratory located in the beautiful mountain town of Steamboat Springs, CO. We are currently looking for an Organic Chemist to join our team. ACZ provides flexible schedules once adequate training has been accomplished, and there are regular opportunities for overtime at 1.5x pay. ACZ has a temporary lease for an apartment in Steamboat Springs to assist with relocation. We also offer a 0% loan for ski passes.

Expectations and Responsibilities include:

• Prepare and review data.
• Monitor and maintain support equipment such as balances, ovens, and thermometers.
• Maintain complete and accurate records of laboratory activities.
• Learn, embrace, and adhere to ACZ's mission, core values, and quality system.
• Prepare and analyze environmental samples for various organic constituents.
• Perform other duties as instructed.
• Clean laboratory equipment and facilities.

Minimum Qualifications

• General proficiency with computerized systems.
• Strong work ethic.
• Desire and ability to develop excellent lab technique
• Desire and ability to work in a team environment.

Preferred Experience and Qualifications:

• Previous laboratory experience.
• Associate or Bachelor degree from an accredited university, preferably in a scientific discipline.

Pay: From $22.00- $26.00 per hour (DOQ)
