Job Description

Support the MNCC Contact Center that provides contact center support for Sailors, recruits,
Navy families, Reservists, Retirees, Veterans, and the general public. The Contact Center
provides confidence in our customers that the Navy delivers quality customer service. Support
services, as are focused on resolving inquiries, transactions, and requests relating to the complex
nature of HR related topics across the broad spectrum of payroll, employment verification,
benefits, travel, personnel development, training, recruiting, enlisting, retirements, separations,
extensions, re-enlisting, mobilization and de-mobilization pay and disbursing operations, locator
services, career management, and selection boards which represent the full Hire-to-Retire
lifecycle for the Navy.

Oracle Database Administrator (ODA)

ODA will provide IT support to maintain and configure existing and future systems. Enabling IT
includes the current Oracle E-Business CRM, existing Avaya telephony, and any future solutions
the government may implement. ODA is responsible for ongoing sustainment and configuration
of MNCC (MyNavy Career Center) enabling IT only. OAD will provide database administration
for production databases, production Oracle application servers, and maintains complex
databases.

Requirements:

Mandatory: Existing Secret Clearance
Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or technology related field
Experience: Minimum of 10 years in Oracle Database Administration, performing RDBMS

software installation, database, creation, database sizing, with RMAN, establishing and
maintaining database backup and recovery practices.

Skills: Have understanding in business continuity practices, strong analytical skills and
ability to collect, organize, analyze and disseminate significant amounts of information,
manage database data migration activities, database security, and translate requirements info
functional specifications.
