Job Description

Summary: The Operations Supervisor is directly responsible for the day to day supervision of the warehouse floor, assigning the work schedule to the team members, and supervising the time management of the warehouse shipments.


To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to complete the following essential duties and responsibilities:


  • Maintain a clean and hazard free warehouse operation
  • Perform additional duties as required and or requested
  • Maintain a safe work environment
  • Supervise and operate forklift and team members
  • Safely receive and unload inbound cargo containers and team members
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously to effective completion
  • Effectively communicate verbally and in writing with company leadership
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite - Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint
  • Ensure day to day warehouse shipments are completed in a timely manner
  • Use both qualitative and quantitative analysis methods to define and solve problems


Additionally the candidate must meet the following Education and/or Experience requirements:


  • Uses creativity to seek quality solutions and process improvements
  • Good organizational skills
  • One (1) to Two (2) years of supervisory experience.
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Forklift experience a plus.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or college coursework preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive cultural change while improving efficiencies and processes
  • Provide high level of customer service
  • Ability to conceptualize and think strategically
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing business needs
  • Familiarity utilizing mobile devices in a fast paced work environment
  • Proactive and able to manage ambiguity effectively
  • Capable of presenting operational data to the business and leadership team


Salary Range: $62,000-$75,000. Estimated annual pay for new hires generally ranges between $71,000 and $82,000 or more, depending on experience, education level and annual bonuses.
