The Operations Manager is responsible for the efficient installation and managing the launch and manufacturing and assembly of Henrob SPR products in the U.S. This role is part of the senior management team on the site and expected to contribute to the strategic and operational management and direction of the company in pursuit of company goals.

  • Contribute to the annual planning process. Responsible for input and maintaining department budget and by providing forecasting according to Business Controller request.
  • Provide input and leadership on Project Open Issues, Facility and Quality Audits
  • Manage effectively and efficiently the production of the required daily/weekly/monthly targets provided by procurement department in line with customer specifications.
  • Implement process improvements and changes to minimize production costs, minimize environmental impact and energy consumption, maximize added value through digital manufacturing operation. Stay up to date on related technology.
  • Maintain all proper permitting for the site to be in both local and state compliance.
  • Support the overall business strategy and company culture deployment.
  • Carry out other reasonable duties as requested by the organization.
  • Provide leadership and coaching to team, ensuring they are enabled to achieve operational and financial metrics and succeed in their roles. Manage development of team in line with Atlas Copco Talent Framework.
  • Provide feedback and regular performance reviews, as well as manage/address any people issues in coordination with HR.
  • Ensure safe and best working practices and conditions are always upheld. Ensure site is operating in accordance with any health, safety, ethics and environmental policies and procedures to ensure safety and well-being of staff and visitors.
  • Lead and support Lean Manufacturing philosophy and principles to stimulate a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Create a culture of value generation, commitment, innovation and collaboration.
  • Hire and train the leadership team that will support the manufacturing facilities.
  • Develop and implement the strategy of operations to 1) improve efficiencies in a modern and sustainable way 2) meet customer quality and delivery requirements 3) improve product costs and productivity 4) develop appropriate organizational structure and resource plans
  • Collaborate with SPR and Industrial Assembly Solution business stakeholders to improve SPR global operations and IAS results.

  • Knowledge of and ability to interpret and adhere to company strategies, policies, work instructions, and related execution tools
  • Experience in managing budgets; KPI and data driven mindset, results focused
  • A minimum of 8+ years in Manufacturing leadership role
  • Show moral courage, openness, and ethical behavior in all situations
  • Excellent knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, JIT, QCO/SMED, line balancing assembly, Kaizen, 5S and Kanban
  • Knowledge of and experience with automotive supplier base
  • Project Management experience with custom engineered equipment / system integration experience
  • Ability to inspire and motivate a team, work well under pressure
  • Open-minded, strategic, resourceful, resilient, collaborative mindset and leadership style
  • Knowledge of OEM requirements with an emphasis on Q1 requirements
  • Clear and demonstrable experience in A3 development and PPS
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to present SPR/fastening technology to our customers in both written and in person scenarios


Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Business required and extensive organization and industry experience. MBA strongly preferred.
