The Operations Manager Position

The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the strategic direction, operations, compliance, and financial results for all warehouse operations throughout the US. This role will lead all operational continuous improvement activities, LEAN practices, and supply chain analysis within the division. The Operations Manager will also ensure that the operation adheres to the overall corporate mission, vision, and core values while consistently meeting customer and company expectations and requires superior business acumen, analytical and problem-solving skills, and a demonstrated ability to implement new solutions and continuous improvement programs.

Desired Experience, Skill, and Abilities of the Operations Manager

• 10+ years warehouse management experience
• Ability to think critically and analyze data
• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management or equivalent work experience
• Effectively communicate and collaborate cross functionally
• 5+ years experience with direct responsibility of warehouse inventory and quality control processes
• Proven ability to provide leadership, mentoring and team development
• Strong knowledge of project management best practices and process improvement
• Experience in application of DMAIC, DFSS and lean tools preferred
• Strong knowledge of warehousing key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Proven experience with implementation of best practices and SOPs
• 5+ years experience with both B2B shipping and direct ship to consumer
• Intermediate level understanding of warehouse management software and experience in driving full utilization of system capabilities
