Job Description

Summary

The Food and Beverage Manager will oversee the Food & Beverage areas within the hotel. This position will focus in the overall management of our Restaurants. Responsibilities may include scheduling, forecasting and training, ensuring compliance with federal, state and local laws as well as all operating procedures. This person will be involved with the restaurants concepts, menus, décor, service standards and hiring the new team’s members in synergy with senior leadership.. Food and Beverage cost control experience is helpful. Additional responsibilities may include; guest satisfaction, compliance standards, staffing, scheduling, payroll and training of staff. The selected candidate will effectively and proactively monitor the daily functions of the F&B Department to drive an impact on the F&B Experience at our Outlets while providing support and guidance based on our purpose to care for people so they can be their best.


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:


  • Oversee the Food and Beverage daily operations
  • Create a positive environment to our internal and external customers and guests
  • Perform duties related to staff supervision, coaching and accountability
  • Oversees duties related to payroll, finance, ordering and budgeting

Qualifications

Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with people.

  • Proven leadership skills
  • Service oriented style with professional presentations skills
  • Must possess the following strengths: high energy, entrepreneurial spirit, motivational leader, proven track record in high volume concept, effective communicator, effective in providing exceptional customer service and ability to improve the bottom line
  • Must have excellent organizational, interpersonal and administrative skills.
  • Clear concise written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Experience in implementing new food & beverage concepts.
  • 4 years or more of progressive hotel F&B management experience (preferably with Hyatt)
  • Hotel/Hospitality degree an asset
