RCB is seeking an Operations Coordinator who is flexible, a self-starter who is customer service driven, able to work independently, and willing to take a hands-on, proactive approach to resolve operational issues.

HERE IS WHAT YOU WILL DO
Most of the college is located in 164,000sf of space at 35 Broad Street. We are in the process of moving all downtown Robinson departments into 340,000sf of office, classroom and collaboration space at 55 Park Place. The Building Operations team manages space in 55 Park Place that is open from 7:30am – 10:00pm, Monday-Friday. Occasionally, there are classes and events on the weekend that this position will staff.
This is a customer service-focused role that has the potential to interact with all Robinson faculty, staff and students, as well as various service departments within the university. This position will be expected to walk between 55 Park Place and the main RCB building at 35 Broad Street on a daily basis. The two buildings are a five minute walk apart.
The ideal candidate, on a day-to-day basis, will be responsible for the following:
- Package receipt and distribution throughout the college
- Executing small departmental furniture moves within buildings.
- Coordinating with the maintenance and cleaning teams to ensure help tickets are completed thoroughly and promptly.
- Maintaining classroom facilities to ensure clean, organized, and functional spaces for student learning.
- Coordinating emergency response procedures to ensure the safety of students, faculty, and staff during evening and weekend hours.
- Troubleshooting key and access control issues
- Cross-training in other departmental responsibilities to act as a backup during absences.
- Perform routine surveys of the building and identify and report issues to ensure a professional environment is presented in both buildings. Maintaining a schedule for water filter replacement, ice maker cleaning, routine painting and carpet cleaning needs.
- Creating and installing interior signage as requested by departments.
We are looking for a flexible, self-starter who is customer service driven, able to work independently and willing to take a hands-on, proactive approach to resolve operational issues.
**Standard hours for this position will be 10:30am-7:15pm however the schedule will vary depending on the needs of the department. Some early mornings, weekends and evenings will be required. Schedules will typically be determined two weeks in advance. **

Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree and two years of related experience, or a combination of education and related experience
