Job Description
Position Description:
Serco requires the services of a full-time, Hyland OnBase System Administrator who will be accountable for application delivery and technical support of on-premise Hyland OnBase Document Management and IAConnect/VP Connect Workflow solutions for Deltek that meet operational objectives and strategic business initiatives. The position will interface regularly with stakeholders in business operations, Finance, application teams, infrastructure teams, Enterprise Architecture, and other areas as required across locations in the US and Canada.

This role calls for a well-rounded performer who thrives in a fast-paced, demanding environment. Key attributes we are seeking for this role include both the willingness to dig deeply into details, as well as the ability to assess the big picture. The selected individual will consistently demonstrate high levels of technical and professional knowledge and quickly assimilate new knowledge. The person in this role must have the ability to manage tight deadlines and have strong technical, communication, and customer service skills. The OnBase System Administrator will routinely work with multiple stakeholders to insure process integrity, implement enhancements, and participate in improvement initiatives related to systems.

This position is responsible for application administration for selected systems including Hyland ONBase, IAConnect, VPConnect. The OnBase Administrator serves as the principal resource for all hardware, database software and application software that interacts with or supports the OnBase solution. They must work effectively with other members of the organization’s Finance Systems and IT staff to troubleshoot and diagnose issues associated with these components of the overall solution if they arise.

In this role, you will:
  • Safeguard the security, integrity, and confidentially of internal systems and data.
  • Respond to internal business user requests for assistance with issues related to application functions.
  • Update system to fix defects or to complete minor enhancement requests.
  • Maintain system accounts to include account creation, changes, and deletion.
  • Test changes to business applications and ensure performance is as designed; work with team members to resolve any issues.
  • Planning for future growth of the system.
  • Compose internal documentation that reflects changes made to the application, with direct oversight from team members. Includes descriptions of workflows, scripts, system configuration and design, workview process flow and function.
  • Administration and management of an on-premise OnBase system, including Test and Production environments.
  • Assists with the maintenance of OnBase environment servers and performance of upgrades and patches, including support of routine Deltek patch testing related OnBase integration.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner with oversight and coordination with business user team members. Work with vendor technical consultants for configuration of applications and issue resolution as needed.
  • Leads or participates in business process reviews and works with process improvement groups to gather business requirements and complete needs assessments and cost/benefit analysis. Utilizes project management skills to build and deploy solutions that align with business initiatives.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will have:
  • Must be a citizen of the United States.
  • A Bachelor's Degree Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or related field.
    • or at least 8 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in process analysis, design and transforming accounting processes.
  • MS Excel
  • Ability to plan, execute, and deliver on projects in a timely manner; plus the ability to multi-task on varying projects and initiatives.
  • Stellar work ethic.
  • Strong technical skills, including experience in advanced use of:
    • SQLTalk
    • MS Excel
  • Or at least 8 years of relevant experience.
  • Very high attention to detail; organized and thorough with a desire for continuous improvement.
  • The position requires excellent analytical and critical-thinking skills.
  • 4 years working with a Hyland OnBase System (administration, design, support, upgrade, integrations) required.
  • SQLTalk
Additional desired experience and skills:
  • ServiceNow
  • Bachelor's Degree Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration
  • OnBase Certified Workflow Administrator (OSWA) preferred
  • Deltek Costpoint
  • OnBase Certified System Administrator (OCSA) preferred
  • Preferred-2 or more years technical experience with Deltek Costpoint, including a solid understanding of database structures, and functional modules for AP, Projects and GL.
  • Preferred- 2 or more years of experience in a government contracting environment.
  • OnBase Certified Workview Administrator (OSWV) preferred
