Summary
The Night Auditor will perform daily audit functions according to the daily audit checklist and complete tasks in a timely manner. The Night Auditor will act as Front Desk, Concierge and PBX during the overnight hours. Shifts will be 11pm-7am.
- Act responsibly and in accordance with policies and procedures in the event of an emergency
- Comply with all policies and procedures for the Front Desk department, The Little Nell, and Aspen Skiing Company
- Post overnight parking charges
- Perform check in and check out duties
- Notate and follow up on Wake Up Calls from the wake up call sheet
- Complete tasks and projects delegated by your manager and assist other departments as business volumes and staff levels demand
- Post room and tax
- Print and distribute House Reports, including arrivals, departure and in-house report
- Report to work on time, and in a neatly groomed and acceptable manner as outlined in the employee handbook
- Run Night Audit Daily Processing to roll hotel date
- Roll all Expected Arrivals and No shows to next day
- Wash and polish champagne glasses from the champagne welcome program.
- Act as Front Desk Receptionist, Concierge and PBX Operator during this shift
- Sort and file daily receipts for all restaurant outlets
- Is familiar with hotel fire and safety procedures. Assist in emergency and security procedures as directed by management
- Make management aware of guest’s comments and complaints
- Assist with guest requests and any guest concerns or issues
- Verify all Retail outlet charges are posted
- Answer incoming internal and external phone calls, as well as additional PBX (phone operator) duties as needed
- Be a self-starter and be able to work without supervision
- Desire to work nights
- Knowledge of Hotel Front Desk Responsibilities
- Excellent customer service experience

Supervision Given and Received
Supervision given: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Supervision received: Works under direct supervision of the Assistant Front Desk Manager. Tasks are assigned according to specific procedures, and work is checked frequently. Instruction, advice and assistance are readily available.
- Must be able to occasionally lift, push or pull up to 50 lbs. individually or with assistance (weight limits can vary according to position, but no more than 50)
- Regularly work indoors with no adverse conditions. Some positions require exposure to outdoor elements or a combination of both indoors and outdoors and may be required to walk on slippery and uneven surfaces
- Ability to stand, walk or be on your feet for extended periods of time. Kneeling and bending may be required
