Logistician/Property Manager Jobs

BAE Systems is seeking a Logistician/Property Manager to support the Department of Defense (DoD)
National Cyber Range Complex (NCRC). This facility supports the Test Resource Management Center’s (TRMC) mission to provide realistic cybersecurity environments for test and evaluation of major DoD acquisition programs and to enable the conduct of realistic training and certification events for the DoD Cyber Mission Force. The NCRC facility may also support non‐DoD customers such as Department of Homeland Security (DHS), industry, academia and international partners.

The Property Manager is responsible for the tracking and accountability of all government and contractor property on the NCRC site. This includes property arriving at and leaving the site for testing and will include range customer property used in testing and evaluation (T&E) activities. The candidate is responsible for developing and maintaining the Property Management Plan and will play a vital role in all property management requirements including, but not limited to shipping, receiving, 100% accountability and regulatory oversight of day‐to‐day logistics and asset management functions. Efficiencies and effectiveness of these functions are critical to mission success.
The position requires teamwork and leadership; teamwork resolution of issues; ability to think ahead and balance multiple priorities in a fast‐paced environment. The successful candidate must display a high level of professionalism in all aspects of the job at all time and must dependably, follow instructions, communicate clearly, and respond to management direction and follow up as required.
Candidates must be able to read, interpret, and generate reports in MS Word format and MS Excel documents.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

• Documented experience with presenting material to senior division and program leadership and other government officials
• Candidates with Armed Forces, college courses or Associate Degree, extensive certification, and additional experience are highly encouraged to apply.
• Demonstrated ability to be a self‐motivated team player and team leader
• Proven experience with analyzing business process or process documentation to identify areas of improvement and efficiency
• Demonstrated knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 52.245‐1
• Ability to identify complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions
• Ability to work well independently and as a member of a team
• Posses excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills
• Identification (RFID) marking and tracking of property and reporting information verbally or through spreadsheets and charts compatible with the Microsoft Office suite
• Posses excellent oral and written communication skills
• Familiar with requirements for Item Unique Identification (IUID) and Radio Frequency
• 8+ Years with HS; 6+ Years with AA; 4+ Years with BS; 2+ Years with MS; 0+ Years with PhD

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

• Active Top Secret/SCI Eligible clearance
• Active, Reserve, or National Guard military service with experience as a logistics officer or warrant officer, property book officer, or senior non‐commissioned officer
