Job Summary

In the Department of Molecular and Cellular Biology at Harvard University, we research and teach how the collective behavior of molecules and cells forms the basis of life. We are driven by a passion for discovery and value collaborative approaches to scientific inquiry, where connections between people fuel interdisciplinary science and break boundaries across varied experimental systems. Against a backdrop of cutting-edge biological research, we work as a team of educators and mentors to inspire and train the next generation of scientists and global citizens. The Ramanathan Lab is a biology research group interested in how human embryonic stem cells respond to signals to make developmental decisions. We are looking for an exceptionally motivated Laboratory Technician to join our team with experience in molecular biology and tissue culture. The individual will contribute to the intellectual development of a project, attend and present at lab meetings, and have opportunities to take part in publications. All previous technicians in the lab have been students who are taking a few years between undergraduate and graduate school, and then move on to MD or PhD programs.
