All about the role:
As Lab technician, you'll have a crucial role in ensuring the top-notch performance of washers and dryers. From performing tests to documenting results, your responsibilities are diverse and exciting.
To keep the testing process running smoothly, you'll be responsible for changing laundry loads and monitoring the reliability units closely. Any failures will need to be documented meticulously, and you'll need to analyze data to evaluate the overall performance of the washers and dryers.
Working alongside senior technicians and technical experts, you'll follow their guidance and suggestions for improvement. With your proactivity and dedication, you'll communicate any key observations to help make the testing process even better.
To succeed in this role, you'll need to be an expert at prioritizing and organizing your work. You'll thrive under pressure, and delivering to agreed deadlines will come as second nature to you.

What you’ll do:

• Perform general lab maintenance on assigned shift.
• Undertake assigned technical tasks under the supervision of professional colleagues.
• Set up and prepares tests in terms of equipment, samples, area, materials and any other conditions necessary to properly complete the evaluation.
• Responsible for conducting both long-term reliability and software functional testing to support project development and current product improvements.
• Execute Validation Test Plans according to agreed instructions, including international and Electrolux internal standards.
• Use existing procedures to support the daily laboratory activities. Receives instructions, guidance, and direction from others.

Qualifications required:

• The position will require the ability to stay busy on your feet and lift light loads.
• High school degree with 1 year of experience in lab environment or associates degree in technical field with no experience
• Knowledge of laboratory equipment, data acquisition, testing procedures, and data analysis methods
• Practical problem solving skills
