Junior Ui/Ux Designer

We are currently seeking a talented and enthusiastic Jr UI/UX Designer to join our team on a contract basis.

As a Jr UI/UX Designer, you will play a vital role in shaping the user experience and interface design for various digital products. You will collaborate closely with our team of designers, developers, and project managers to create visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces. Your main responsibilities will include:

1. User Research: Conduct user research to understand target audiences, identify user needs, and gather insights to inform the design process.
2. Wireframing and Prototyping: Create wireframes and interactive prototypes to visualize and validate design concepts, ensuring a seamless user experience.
3. Visual Design: Develop visually appealing UI designs that align with the project requirements, brand guidelines, and industry best practices.
4. Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, provide design solutions, and iterate based on feedback.
5. Usability Testing: Conduct usability testing and gather user feedback to refine designs and optimize the user experience.
6. Documentation: Create design documentation, including style guides, design specifications, and asset libraries to ensure consistency across projects.
7. Stay Updated: Stay informed about the latest design trends, tools, and technologies to continuously enhance your skills and contribute to the team's growth.

Requirements:

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
• Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
• Proven experience (either through coursework or internships) in UI/UX design.
• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
• Proficiency in design and prototyping in Figma, or similar.
• Attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

Contract Details:

• The duration of the contract will be specified during the negotiation process.
• Contract renewals and opportunities for growth within the company may be available based on performance.
• The contract will be based on an hourly rate of $27.50.
• This is a remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere with a stable internet connection.
