Jr Java Developer Jobs

We are currently looking for an Jr Java Developer candidate for a role on one of our prime Federal projects in Arlington, VA. Federal agency requires US Citizenship.
Candidate should have previous experience working in one of the following sectors, federal and large commercial, financial, insurance and banking with a strong emphasis on user experience, usability, client interaction, customer satisfaction, and a clear understanding of new and emerging technologies.
Responsibilities

• Design and develop quick prototypes.
• Support Mission Critical complex large scale application development and maintenance.
• Provide Tier 3 support for public facing applications.

Required Education + Experience

• Must have high attention to detail and an ability to follow detailed Standard Operating Procedures.
• Must have customer-centric service delivery focus.
• Must have experience working with multiple project and project teams simultaneously.
• Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Java development. Node.Js experience is a plus.
• Experience in solving complex business issues- strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Should be able to develop quick prototypes and present to EA, product owners, and security teams.
• Must have 3 experience with front-end technologies - Angular, React.
• Experience with ANT, Maven and other build scripts.
• BS in computer science or related degree.
• Worked on an agile team utilizing agile methodology.
• Must have excellent time management and task prioritization skills.
• Proficient communication, facilitation, mediation, and verbal and written communication skills to be demonstrated upon interview. Client-facing skills are required for the position.
• Federal agency requires US Citizenship
• Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience with application servers including TOMCAT, WebLogic, JBoss.

Desired Skills:

• Experience Azure DevOps and Microsoft TFS.
• Experience working directly with technical and business teams.
• Experience with cloud platforms is a plus, especially Azure Cloud and Cloud.Gov environment.
• Knowledge of SDLC, IT governance and operations.
• Comprehensive knowledge of hardware, software, and application dependencies.
