Are you a mid-level IT Support Technician looking for an exciting new opportunity? Your search ends here! Leidos Civil Group is seeking a talented individual to join the National Airspace System (NAS) Integration Support Contract (NISC IV) team, supporting the Washington, DC office.

As part of our team, you'll be responsible for providing crucial aid to the Federal Aviation Administration's (FAA) Air Traffic Organization (ATO), Technical Operations, Facilities & Engineering Services, and Enterprise Support Group (AJW-21). This group is accountable for ensuring ATO employees have the resources they need to effectively perform their work by providing a variety of services, from equipment and property management to supply management and more.

As our new IT Support Technician, you'll be working closely with our Implementation Services Team - (AJW-213) to document investigations of software application errors reported by end-users, conduct research, and classify and summarize data for the preparation and submission of reports on a recurring basis. You'll also be tasked with providing planning, scheduling, networking, and coordination assistance among regional and headquarters organizations, involving NAS implementation and integration efforts and related monitoring/tracking programs.

Your Main Objective:

  • Provide special reports and analyses to support the business as necessary.
  • Extract data from various sources, including databases, manual files, and external websites.
  • Provide day-to-day validation and spot checks.
  • Analyze data from automated scripting and provide recommendations based on data for executive decisions.
  • Attend and assist team meetings, participate in teleconferences by capturing related notes, and document and track action items through to completion as requested by the ETO.
  • Create and maintain multiple operational reporting tools.
  • Work to achieve key product/program objectives and deliverables.
  • Speak with and understand the stakeholder's technical and mission intent.
  • Prepare draft documents and notifications; then track and monitor progress through to completion, as applicable.
  • Partner with Federal Government stakeholders to identify program needs, documents necessary actions, and track milestones and timelines to advocate overall programs.
  • Assist in developing and updating schedules and timelines and deliver according to ETO's request.
  • Must accomplish clear and concise general and technical writing and tactfully coordinate with a variety of project stakeholders, peers, and management levels.
  • Regularly employ ingenuity and creativity to develop and/or recommend new technical solutions, products, standards and systems to achieve functional objectives.
  • Establish and maintain an inclusive work environment consistent with Leidos values.
  • Exercise and demonstrate daily strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Maintain a wide range of program documents and file formats.
  • Identify issues, analyze and perform audits on available information and recommend changes to management.
  • Speak with internal team members across multiple areas and client team members to convey new practices and approaches.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure data integrity; ensure data accuracy through partnerships with team members.
  • Identify relevant data, prepare reports, and present data using appropriate media.
  • Provide services to ATO employees, including equipment and property management/inventory; telecommunications; space management; contracts; travel; supply management, and ad hoc miscellaneous logistical areas in aid of the ATO AJW business services function.
  • Design, test, and document standard operations and procedures for various data collections.
  • Utilize existing data management systems to obtain customized reports and analyze data to advocate program needs.

What Sets You Apart:

  • Effectively communicate in written and verbal form.
  • Intermediate to advanced-level experience with Excel (create queries, report outputs, use of macros/formulas/VBA plugins).
  • Knowledge of an Electronic Document Management System (such as ProjectWise, Vault).
  • Experience with Microsoft Office tools (Access, PowerPoint, Teams) and other Microsoft Power Apps.
  • Ability to learn and perform content management on SharePoint system.
  • Ability to write standard operations & procedures, contingency, and communication plans.
  • 3+ years of experience in IT technical and analysis support.
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Experience providing technical oversight within a team and throughout the organization.
  • Influence development of solutions that impact strategic project/program goals and business results.
  • Knowledge of PowerShell application; development of coding is not required.
  • Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of prior relevant experience of prior relevant; additional experience in lieu of degree.

You Might Also Have:

  • Experience working with federal agencies like GSA, USACE, and DoD.
  • Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) Certification – Expert Level
  • Performs general IT Helpdesk Tier 1 End User Support.
  • Experience with Autodesk AutoCAD, Bentley MicroStation, or other CAD design software.
  • Experience with video editing and other video development/presentation software.
  • Experience with various script languages (VBA, .NET, LISP, PowerShell).

Clearance:

  • While a clearance is not required to be considered for the position, the ability to obtain a clearance (i.e., Public Trust) is required if hired.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $54,600.00 - $84,000.00 - $113,400.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
