  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful integration of network systems with automation and control systems.
  • Develop comprehensive network design specifications, including IP addressing schemes, VLAN configurations, firewall rules, and traffic management policies.
  • Conduct regular network assessments and audits to ensure compliance with industry regulations, such as FDA 21 CFR Part 11, HIPAA, and GDPR.
  • Participate in the development and execution of disaster recovery and business continuity plans for network systems and infrastructure.
  • Design and implement secure remote access solutions for authorized personnel, including VPNs and multi-factor authentication mechanisms.
  • Implement and configure network equipment, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Masters degree is preferred.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams, vendors, and contractors.
  • Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CISSP, or other relevant certifications are highly desirable.

  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to analyze complex network issues and provide effective solutions.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, best practices, and technologies, including threat detection, incident response, and access controls.
  • Proficiency in network monitoring and management tools, such as SNMP, Syslog, and network analyzers.
  • Proven experience working as an IT Network System Architect in a highly automated environment, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of network architecture, protocols, and technologies, including TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching, VPNs, and wireless networking.
