About This Position
Lead and manage department compliance by developing and implementing strategies that adhere to QMS (Quality Management System) requirements and promote continuous improvements.
Responsibilities Include
  • Lead and support development of self and others through training, mentoring and sharing of experiences to achieve compliance of Quality Management Systems.
  • Review and analyze quality management systems (MQS-Manufacturing Quality Standard, CCP- Critical Control Point, Corrective Action, NCR-Non-Conformance Report) to confirm compliance and capability.
  • Manage and support internal and external audits to confirm departments ISO compliance.
  • Manage and maintain department documentation system to comply with AAP, North America and Global quality standards.
  • Confirmation of department training and adherence to AAP calibration requirements to drive on time completion of calibration and/or documentation.
  • Track and coordinate the review of departmental trigger items to verify countermeasure activity completion and effectiveness.
  • Maintain department record retention policy to meet QMS standard.
  • Manage and report status of all Mass Production change point documentation to ensure traceability and final closure.
  • Collaboration and communication of QMS (Quality Management System) activity to internal/external departments to understand change points and adopt best practices that will improve plant characteristics.
Required Experience
Who we are seeking:
5 years manufacturing experience / 1 year QMS / ISO representative
Required Education
2 year degree or equivalent experience
Other Job Specific Skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to create, explain, summarize, and present the key points of activity with effective written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to conduct audits and judge compliance with a written standard
  • Ability to lead meetings and conduct one-on-one and group training.
  • Ability to work with informational databases
  • Ability to create and maintain standards and procedures.
Additional Position Factors
  • Travel 1-2 times per year as needed
  • Must be willing to work overtime if needed.
  • Weekend and daily overtime estimate 2-5 hours per week
  • Environment Associate will work in: Office / Production Floor
