A reputable and ethical company is currently seeking a highly-skilled and motivated Human Resources Assistant to join their team and add to their dynamic company culture A. The company has hired Robert Half to help them find a candidate that is looking to join their firm long-term. Daily responsibilities will include handling a variety of personnel related administrative tasks and providing clerical support to the HR department and employees regarding human resources related activities, policies, processes, and procedures. Offered on a long-term contract / temporary basis, this HR Assistant position is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in the industry within the Parsippany, New Jersey area.
Your responsibilities

• Explore the internet to track down potential customers
• Update employee database logs
• Plan new employee orientation meetings
• Be in charge of administrative and office responsibilities

Requirements

• Prior experience handling confidential business matters and information with discretion
• Able to maintain an approachable and appropriate attitude when interacting with all levels of personnel in a rapidly changing environment
• Desire to thrive in scenarios of team-based work or independent tasks, always looking to learn more and take initiative on a number of different projects and tasks
• Strong familiarity with Oracle
• I-9 Compliance experience
• HCM Cloud experience preferred
• Advanced in office applications and software, as well as Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS)
• Solid understanding of Onboarding
• Excellent verbal, written, and social skills
• Command of data entry
