Job Description

Our client, a prominent California-based CPA Firm, is looking to hire an HR Generalist who could one day grow into an HR Operations Manager! Title: HR Generalist

Location: San Francisco, CA or San Jose, CA

Salary: $33.65 - $40.85/hr, depending on experience


Job Responsibilities

· The HR Generalist assists with new hire orientation

· The HR Generalist updates employee information in the HRIS System

· The HR Generalist assists with coordinating candidate interviews (phone and email) and coordinates interviews with internal managers

· The HR Generalist will review and update policies as needed, conduct performance reviews, assist with benefits matters and help with offboarding

· The HR Generalist prepares and updates reports for the HR team


Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree in HR or similar field strongly preferred; HR certifications are preferred but not required

· Candidates must possess strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)

· Candidates must have at least 3-6 years of experience working in HR and should have experience in all HR-related functions, from recruiting to onboarding to benefits to performance evaluations to terminations

· The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in a professional services environment/industry

· Candidates must have strong attention to detail and possess excellent communication skills
