Job Description
Bright Innovation Labs is looking for an experienced Human Resources Generalist to join our team. The HR Generalist participates in the day-to-day operations for the human resource office for HR activities that will span the entire employee life cycle. Requirements


  • Excellent computer and time management skills.
  • Must be able to speak, read, and write in English, ability to speak other language(s) is a plus.
  • Self-accountable and gets the details right the first time.
  • Regular and predictable attendance.
  • Able and willing to work until the job is done to support our employees.
  • Current/Prior experience working with HR software (ADP, ATS, benefits, etc.) and/or recruiting preferred.
  • Prepares and maintains all HR-related paperwork spanning the employee life cycle.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Handles employment related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the HR Manager.
  • Participates in the recruitment and hiring processes. Works with outside suppliers to provide employee services, such as temporary employees.
  • Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute HR programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave, employee recognition and morale.
  • Successful completion of background, physical and drug screen will be required.
  • Prepares and maintains employment records, conducts new hire orientation and onboarding, leave administration such as FMLA, military Leave, etc.
  • Bachelor's degree in HR, related discipline and/or equivalent HR work experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Provides daily support to operations leadership regarding position changes, discipline, policy enforcement, attendance, recruiting, interviewing, etc.
  • Minimum of 3+ years' demonstrated experience working in the HR department with knowledge in recruiting, orientation and onboarding, employee relations, and employee training.


Preferred


  • Current/prior working experience in a high-volume manufacturing company.
  • Current/prior working experience with large contingent workforce.


A Day in the Life for an HR Generalist


Reporting to the site's HR Manager, you will be instrumental in supporting the HR department programs that help improve the employee experience. The HR Generalist provides a wide range of daily support and advice for operations leadership regarding recruiting, interviewing, position changes, discipline, attendance, policy enforcement, etc. The HR Generalist is a high-visibility position and will be performing many of the core HR tasks and functions in support of the various HR programs including but not limited to recruiting, onboarding, benefits, training, FMLA, compensation, employee recognition and morale.
