Our human resources department is currently expanding and looking for an experienced and committed HR Generalist to join our exceptional HR team in support of our guiding principles of accountability, integrity, innovation, exceptional service, and teamwork.


HR Generalist Position Summary:

The Human Resource Generalist manages or supports various functions of the Human Resource (HR) department including but not limited to benefits administration, new employee onboarding and tracking, PTO and HRIS management, employee safety and compliance training and reporting and other special projects as assigned. This position provides opportunity for growth and will support the Director of Human Resources in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.

HR Generalist Pay and Benefits:

  • Starting salary of $62,000 - $67,000 per year

Responsibilities of our HR Generalist:

  • Collaborates with HR Director to review, create and update company policies on an ongoing basis. Updates employee handbook and intranet as needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned and supports other HR staff when needed.
  • Manages, audits and reports on employee health insurance benefits.
  • Participates in all HR sponsored company-wide events and community outreach opportunities.
  • Conducts one and three month follow up interviews with new hires and provide feedback to management.
  • Stays up to date with trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
  • Manages employment verification, unemployment and COBRA requests.
  • Works with HR Director to assess, recommend and administer company health insurance benefits and policies.
  • Provides support to physicians and staff with issues related to benefits, onboarding, employee assistance, employee recognition, and time away programs.
  • Promotes organization attractiveness by recommending new policies and practices, monitoring industry trends, and emphasizing company benefits and culture.
  • Collaborates with HR Representative to implement and conduct new hire orientation.


Preferred Skills and Qualifications of our HR Generalist:

  • Excellent organizational skills, able to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and projects simultaneously.
  • A bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related field is required
  • Professional presence and demeanor and the ability to build positive relationships with employees and colleagues at all levels, and work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, able to evaluate and interpret data to support decision-making.
  • PHR or SHRM-CP credential preferred.
  • 3+ years of HR generalist experience with emphasis in employee benefits administration and employee relations.
  • Must have good technological skills, including proficiency with HR information systems, other HR-related software applications, Google, and MS Office. Paycom HRIS experience a plus.
  • A highly confidential individual with excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
