The position is at aluxury cosmetics company. In order to manage all facets of the employee experience for a multicultural, international workforce, including employee relations, payroll, and benefits, we are looking for an HR Generalist to join our team. The chosen applicant will advance HR functional excellence and serve as a champion for our culture and fundamental values. The VP, People, is responsible for this role.


Responsibilities


  • Keep staff records up to date and do yearly audits
  • Keep monthly organization charts
  • Manage the management of Google Workspace (e.g., add/remove emails, create groups, and manage distribution lists), as well as the technical setup for new hires.
  • Manage key company policies and effectively inform all staff of modifications.
  • Serve as the initial point of contact for all inquiries regarding employees
  • Keep abreast of trends, best practices, legal updates, and new HR technologies; support forward-thinking HR initiatives.
  • Carry out additional ad hoc HR tasks as needed
  • Make sure policies, procedures, and reporting are compliant with all applicable legal requirements and reporting rules.
  • Organize, schedule, and coordinate company-wide training and development projects.
  • Efficiently run our PEO system and collaborate with the service team to deliver a superior employee experience.
  • Support the hiring team throughout the whole recruitment process.
  • Oversee the onboarding of new hires and all employee trainings; periodically improve & simplify
  • Support and advise on problems pertaining to performance management


Qualifications


  • A bachelor's degree in organizational behavior, human resources, or a similar discipline; A plus is HR certification.
  • 3-5 years of experience working with small- to medium-sized businesses in several HR areas; working knowledge of a multinational CPG company is an advantage.
  • The capacity to conduct oneself with honesty, professionalism, and discretion
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Strong ability to analyze problems and make decisions
  • Excellent time management abilities and a track record of meeting deadlines
  • Ability to manage complicated HR issues with excellent follow-up and attention to detail skills
  • Self-starter with the capacity to work both individually and jointly with colleagues from other fields
  • A thorough knowledge of US and international labor laws; knowledge of UK or European labor legislation would be advantageous
  • Excellent understanding of and expertise using PEOs and HRIS systems Knowledge of JazzHR or other equivalent application tracking systems
  • Demonstrated expertise in creating and implementing company-wide processes, as well as managing Google Workspaces
