Job description


Title: HR Generalist


Role: This role will support HR tasks and special projects for all levels of management and staff. It is the responsibility of this person to advise leadership on talent strategies, workforce initiatives, and human resource policies and programs. It is imperative to possess strong consultation skills, peer leadership, influence abilities, and business/financial acumen to drive the use of progressive HR solutions that align HR programs and services with business goals and priorities. The role will include some assistance with general office needs, office operations.


Responsibilities


  • Identify, analyze, and report on candidate funnel metrics and other recruitment key performance indicators to improve metrics and resolve challenges.
  • Develop and implement employee learning programs as needed.
  • Understand our business, our industry, our competitors, and emerging trends.
  • Oversee office stocks and consumables (office supplies, PPE, snacks, beverages, bathroom supplies, printing equipment); maintain receipts and invoices.
  • Utilize data to influence management decisions through employee onboarding and employee lifecycle management.
  • Maintain order, organization, and cleanliness of the office, especially in communal areas.
  • Establish employee engagement programs and oversee their implementation.
  • Manages all aspects of human resources and talent development including development, strategic planning, coordination, and administration, provides management and oversight of such as recruitment and selection, employee credentials, talent management, employee training and development, new position analysis and classification, employee relations, benefits administration legal and regulatory compliance, performance evaluation, budget and compensation analysis, maintenance and communication of records required by law, Workers Compensation, FMLA/ADA reviews, and accreditation requirements.
  • Create diversity reports that will be shared with leadership team.
  • Manage all office operations for the organization's facilities.
  • Identify opportunities for Strategic Talent Sourcing.
  • Plan, communicate, align, evaluate risks, and execute employee recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding projects.
  • Maintains compliance with applicable Federal, State, and City employment laws, including, but not limited to, immigration and naturalization laws, equal employment opportunity laws, veterans' affairs laws, family medical leave laws, Americans with Disabilities Acts, Fair Labor Standards Acts, Consolidated Omnibus Reconciliation Acts, civil service laws, and labor contract laws.
  • Develops and implements employee performance evaluations in conjunction with leadership.
  • Maintain the facilities and act as a point of contact for the building management company.
  • Address employee concerns in a timely, cost-effective manner, minimizing risk to the organization.
  • Improve overall recruitment effectiveness by collaborating and meeting with hiring managers and executive leaders.
  • Organize team building activities on- and off-site.


Qualifications


  • Highly organized with demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Great can-do attitude and willingness to complete the job
  • Strong analytical skills; mental agility; solid decision-making abilities coupled with sound judgment.
  • Strong analytical skills to leverage data and a fact base in delivering HR programs and strategies that effectively address business issues.
  • Professional HR Certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR, CPLP) preferred.
  • Experience with Human Resources Information Systems is required.
  • 4-6+ years' directly related work experience in Human Resources, working in a business partner capacity providing direct consultation and support to business leaders.
  • Experience in strategic sourcing, resource planning, and forecasting based on turnover & business needs.
  • Experience with ADP workforce preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or Organizational Behavior.
  • A high degree of professional maturity, integrity, and ability to maintain confidential data and information.
  • High learning agility with the ability to learn and integrate multiple business variables, make connections and identify/implement successful talent solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly establish credibility, coupled with the ability to recognize and support the organization's preferences and priorities.
  • Direct experience supporting diverse business operations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.


Job Type: Full-time


Salary: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
