Job Description
Description
The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for employee communication and events coordination, child labor compliance assistance, staffing agency management assistance, expat assistance, vending services coordination, employee uniform program and other duties as required.
This is a salaried position and will be part of the existing HR team for a plant with about 500 team members.
Essential Functions:
  • Assists with staffing agency management to include consistent follow up, invoice management and payment, reporting.
  • Coordinates various company sponsored events and programs such as the annual Family Day,
  • Coordinates employee communication and manages HR boards / Power points for recent updates
  • Communicates and supervises employee vending services and cleanliness of the breakroom.
  • Develops annual objectives, goals and action plans to ensure timely results Develops and manages an annual departmental budget related to areas of responsibility
  • Assists HR Manager with other tasks as required.
  • Assists with recruitment for salaried and hourly office support positions.
  • Coordinates annual and new hire uniform orders. Managers uniform policy
  • Negotiates with vending and food service contractors, establishes expectations, receives Team Member feedback, and pro-actively resolves internal customer complaints
  • Child labor compliance assistance related to requirements and agency employee verifications and badging.
  • Company anniversary event, Star Team Member, and other employee recognition events
Education/Experience
  • Ability to organize data for reporting and presentations
  • Intermediate level Excel and Power Point skills (test will be provided)
  • Strong Written and Verbal communication skills (test will be provided)
  • Availability to work past 5pm as required by position as needed periodically for events and follow up with employees on second shift as needed.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Human Resources, Business Administration or related field strongly preferred.
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
  • 2- 4 years of Human Resources experience as a Generalist or Specialist required.
  • Staffing agency management and communication experience is a plus
