Job Description
Summary


The HR Admin provides administrative tasks to support effective and efficient operations of the organization’s HR Department.


Essential Duties And Responsibilities


  • Supports Affirmative Action Plan reporting.
  • Supports the maintenance of the HR SharePoint site, ensuring the most resent information, forms, legal documents and tools are accessible to employees.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Processes employee changes including manager, title, department and location utilizing checklist.
  • Responds to written and phone employment verifications per company policy.
  • Supports open enrollment activities including census report population, coordination of open enrollment meetings, HRIS system data entry/changes and other activities as needed.
  • Coordinates employee benefit entry in HRIS system for new employees, employee changes and terminations.
  • Maintains and follows standard operating procedures to ensure accuracy with all administration.
  • Supports employee recognition program.
  • Prepares employee separation documents and processes in HRIS system.
  • Coordinates the onboarding process, including creating new employee files, HRIS data entry, notifying appropriate teams via employee change form.
  • Maintains thorough and complete records for personnel, medical, I-9, benefits, 401k, unemployment, safety, workers compensation and any other required.

Salary range: $41,600 - $50,930


Summary Of Education, Experience & Certification


Minimum of two years administrative experience, and one year of human resources experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.


Employees working on programs subject to International Traffic in Arms Regulations must qualify as a US Person which is defined as a US Citizen, a Permanent Resident who does not work for a foreign company/foreign government/foreign governmental agency or organization, or a political asylee for legal compliance purposes.


Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities


  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and Human Resource Information System (HRIS) software. Familiarity with PowerPoint and SharePoint preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time, use hands to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and have close/color vision ability to adjust focus.
  • Ability to work overtime as required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail; demonstrates high degree of accuracy and sense of urgency.
  • Displays professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Ability to organize effectively and prioritize work to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work well independently and cross-functionally as part of an established team.
