Overview

Our Restaurant and Lounge seek a friendly, upbeat individual to work variable shifts during our operational hours; Wednesday thru Sunday. The ideal candidate loves making small talk with customers, understands and resonates with our core values and is willing to learn patrons' names in our community-driven establishment. They should be willing to fill in as needed for bussers, baristas, servers and bartenders to keep up with busy shifts with occasional back-of-house assistance, such as inspecting/cleaning restrooms. If you love the restaurant business or enjoy working in a multi-faceted organization and genuinely enjoy people, we need to hear from you!

JOB EXPECTATIONS

Host

• Greet guests as soon as they arrive
• Maintain a neat and organized front-of-house environment
• Maintain guest count at all times within the patio dining area
• New hire cross-training required
• Provide patrons with accurate wait time estimates during busy periods
• Assist with opening/closing tasks and side work as needed
• Manage reservations
• Learn food and beverage menu along with our purveyors

Qualifications

• Team player who looks for ways to help out other employees whenever needed
• Friendly, open disposition
• Flexible schedule
• 1+ years customer service experience, preferably in the hospitality industry but not required
• Advanced time management skills
• High school diploma/GED preferred
