For all missions, conducts safety briefings; plans flight schedules and refueling stops; performs preflight and post flight inspections, and continually checks mechanical condition of both the helicopters and accessories.

Has the ability to safely manage missions requiring extra passengers and equipment and has the ability to approve landing/loading sites, train passengers and crews on operations and safety, and all the while conducting all missions within the limits of the helicopter being flown.
