Job Description
POSITION: General Manager – Alcove Kitchen + Bar
LOCATION: Cincinnati, OH
REPORTS TO: Hospitality Director
COMPENSATION RANGE: $69,971 - $97,715
WHO ARE YOU?
You are a leader with big drive and an ownership mentality. You wouldn’t apply to run one of the largest restaurants in the area if you didn’t expect to win. You also know that you are only as strong as your people, so you are a culture builder. You are empathetic, but you are clear in your expectations. You know what top notch talent looks like and you surround yourself with it. You are a collaborator. You know you can’t do it alone and you tap into all the resources at your disposal – and trust us there are many.
You have an open-minded “yes” mentality knowing that every single consumer experience must be exceptional. You can stretch. You can set direction for a space and you have the tactical and operational muscle to get it done. You build systems and processes, and you drive implementation. You’ve done it before, managing all aspects from FOH to BOH of a successful bar/restaurant.
Perhaps most importantly, you have a growth mindset. You want your people, yourself, and MadTree to get better every single day. You can be vulnerable, you accept feedback, and you make others around you better.
You also want to be a part of a growing organization, and more growth is coming!
WHO ARE WE?
When MadTree sprouted in 2013, we were driven to craft great beer - but more importantly - to build something bigger than ourselves and the high-quality beer we produce. We embrace our name MadTree and work to celebrate and protect nature, while reducing our impact on the environment. We are proud members of 1% for the Planet, with a commitment to donate 1% of our sales to non-profits focused on environmental sustainability. The craftspeople at MadTree wake up every day to connect people to nature and each other.
We are MadTree. Inspiring Madness. Rooted in Purpose.
MadTree is committed to building a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workforce that inspires madness while being rooted in purpose.
