Valex Corp is looking for an experienced General Manager to oversee operations at its Ventura, CA location. The position details are as follows:
Summary
The General Manager is responsible for the overall leadership and management of the assigned location (Ventura, CA), including its operations, sales, marketing, and finance. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of success in a manufacturing environment, as well as a deep understanding of the semiconductor industry.
Responsibilities

• Interface with the sales and marketing team in developing and executing sales strategies
• Develop and execute strategic plans for the location's growth
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the assigned location, including production, quality control, inventory management, and Profit/Loss.
• Travel occasionally to meet with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• 10+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on operations and lean manufacturing.
• Ability to travel
• Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in a leadership role
• A general understanding of the semiconductor industry
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Compensation
Compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications ($165K + per year).
