The position of Front Desk Receptionist/Scheduler if a Monday-Friday position. Working hours are 8am-4:30pm. The wage is $21/hour.

The position of Front Desk Receptionist/Scheduler if a Monday-Friday position. Working hours are 8am-4:30pm. The wage is $21/hour.
Essential Functions
- Scans and enters patient insurance and ID cards/paperwork into practice management software.
- Provides a high level of customer services and communication with all parties.
- Intake of all patient information (Insurance, demographics, etc.)
- Participates in staff meetings and contributes to effective policies, procedures, and programs.
- Provides reception desk coverage on clinic days (check in/out)
- Ensures all documentation is requested and received prior to patient appointment (Records, OT Orders, etc.)
- Participates in professional development and training
- Assists with procedures for quality, effectiveness, and efficiency of all programs.
- Answers clinic phone line, sets appointments, manages calendars
- Appointment Reminder Calls/Texts
- Schedules appointments for multiple providers.
- Communicates with external parties via telephone, text, email, and in person.
- Sends medical records to referring physicians
- Answers questions and helps clients and patients
- Acts as liaison to referral sources
- Excellent computer skills required with knowledge of Microsoft Office and Office 365.
- Background in medical practice preferred.
- Ability to multitask and work independently.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
