The Food and Beverage Supervisor is an integral part of the camper's experience, providing a dynamic platform of service that is unmatched. You will be responsible for all aspects of the Food and Beverage program, including staff, overall schedule, and appropriate use of and maintaining the facilities. The goal is to ensure a high level of training and progression, making sure staff is engaged and participating in a responsible manner.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBLITIES:

  • Oversee the weekly camper card, credit card and cash transactions.
  • Communicate any and all maintenance needed to uphold a safe and sanitized food service area
  • Lead by example to guests and co-workers, creating positive and inspiring environment
  • Supervising opening and closing tasks, as well as communicate with the manager regarding needs and safety concerns
  • Oversight of Food Service Attendants and Parents
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Keep the food service area organized and clean
  • Staffing Supervision
    • Oversight of Food Service Attendants and Parents
    • Recruit, hire, and train attendants in all food outlet operations
    • Lead by example to guests and co-workers, creating positive and inspiring environment
  • Communicate inventory of food and supplies to Chef/Food and Beverage Manager
  • Attend and participate in staff training
  • Maintain ServSafe guidelines and HACCP protocol.
  • Service Excellence
    • Oversee the weekly camper card, credit card and cash transactions.

Requirements:

BASIC SCHEDULE/REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 4 - week commitment during Summer Operations
  • As a requirement of this position, pre-hire criminal history clearances are collected from the Pennsylvania State Police (PATCH) system, child abuse clearances are obtained through the Department of Public Welfare, and federal history is taken through FBI fingerprint screening.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Summer Camp Season (June 4th - August 26th)
  • Provide work related references upon request
  • Physical Capabilities: bend, twist, push, pull, stand, lift 50lbs.
  • Adhere to all workplace safety practices, expectations, and guidelines
  • Ability to work weekends, holidays, evenings:
    • On-site work attendance at Woodward PA
