Who we are and what we do
Emmekappa Consulting is a hospitality consulting firm located in Miami, FL. We specialize in overseeing the opening of new outlets, from the business planning and pre-construction phase to the delivery of the project. We work with general contractors, architects/engineers, lawyers, and public entities to deliver projects within deadlines. We also work with vendors, distributors, importers, and third parties to procure goods and services the business will need to operate. Additionally, we develop menus and wine-lists for F&B outlets, create wine cellars for private collectors and wine investors, perform effective reviews of existing business areas, hire, support, and train management and staff during the changes, find new strategies to increase brand awareness and help foreign investors start a new hospitality business in the US.
We are currently seeking an experienced Food & Beverage Manager on behalf of one of our esteemed clients, located in MIAMI.
Role Description
We are looking for a full-time Food and Beverage Manager to join our team. This is a hybrid role, located in Miami, FL with some flexibility for remote work. The Food and Beverage Manager will be responsible for overseeing the opening of new outlets, working with vendors and third parties to procure goods and services, developing menus and wine-lists, creating wine cellars, performing effective reviews of existing business areas, hiring and training management and staff, and finding new strategies to increase brand awareness.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of the hospitality industry, including food and beverage operations, restaurant management, and event planning
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Great knowledge of wine and beverage products
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or related field
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Gmail, Gdrive, basic knowledge of QuickBooks, advanced knowledge of the most common POS systems
- Culinary experience is a plus
- At least 5 years of previous experience in a similar role
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
