Founded in 2014, Hot Chicken Takeover began as a small, weekend-only pop-up in Columbus’ Olde Towne East neighborhood.We start with fresh, never frozen chicken, marinated for over 15 hours.It’s then fried-to-order and coated with your preferred HCT heat - Cold, Warm, Hot, or Holy (for the bravest guests). The asterisk in our logo is all about our company mission - to create extraordinary experiences for extraordinary people. Our fans’ enthusiasm propelled us to grow - since then, we’ve expanded throughout Ohio and now have 10 locations, including the Columbus Crew stadium and The Ohio State stadium.This is an exciting chapter in our growth.

The Role
Reporting into the marketing lead, you will be responsible for the key focuses shared below. This pivotal role will project manage and execute key day-to-day initiatives to drive brand awareness, trial, engagement and growth (in the Columbus & Cleveland restaurants and surrounding areas).
Key Responsibilities
●Become the brand’s go-to / expert on each new area (min 5 miles surrounding radius, but likely further)
○Who are these communities, what activities do they participate in, etc
○Be in the market several times each week to familiarize yourself with the immediate area, and visit key communities
○Make connections with surrounding businesses and communities
●Identify, propose, plan and execute events and partnership opportunities to introduce HCT to the community (canvassing, sampling, flyering, festivals, local business cross-promotions, fundraisers donations, selling opportunities, etc).Identify all events (sampling or selling) where the brand should be present
●Plan and support pre-opening and opening events (as we open new restaurants) and continue to support the new location post-opening within the community
●Develop relationships with key organizations (schools, local businesses, hospitals, gyms)
●Update and share results of the activities with the team on a regular basis, including an understanding of what activities are working/not and identifying gap closing opportunities
●Own & manage the events calendar and budget
●Develop event collateral and maintain swag tracker and event kits
Work Experience
●Ideally you have worked in food/restaurants
●Experience representing brands and coordinating marketing activities and events
●Spent time interacting with customers/employees in the field

●This is not a work from home job.You will be out at the restaurants or events for the majority of the week
