Job Description

Hunt for Careers is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Assistant to provide comprehensive executive, administrative, and development support to the President and Board of Directors of our client. As the Executive Assistant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation and success of the credit union's objectives.
Responsibilities
Executive Support:
  • Maintain effective communication and build relationships with internal departments and the senior management team.
  • Manage special projects assigned by the President/CEO, ensuring their successful completion within deadlines.
  • Handle confidential correspondence and compose official communications on behalf of the President/CEO.
  • Manage an active calendar of appointments for the President/CEO, including scheduling, coordinating travel arrangements, and preparing necessary documents.
  • Act as a "gatekeeper" and facilitate direct access to the President/CEO's time and office.
  • Prioritize conflicting needs and handle matters proactively and expeditiously.
  • Keep the President/CEO well-informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities.
Board Support And Liaison
  • Assist board members with travel arrangements, lodging, and meal planning.
  • Coordinate monthly meetings and record accurate minutes for Board of Directors, Executive Committee, Supervisory Committee, and PBX Board of Directors.
  • Serve as the President's administrative liaison to Lafayette Federal's Board of Directors.
  • Provide administrative support to the Board of Directors, including meeting notification, compliance with bylaws, and maintenance of volunteer information.
  • Attend and coordinate regularly scheduled events and annual meetings.
  • Maintain confidentiality and foster positive relationships with board members.
Reports/Presentation Creation/Development
  • Support the creation and development of reports and presentations as required.
Events Planning And Management
  • Coordinate and manage various events as assigned.
Requirements
Qualified candidates should possess the following qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent certifications recognized in the industry (e.g., information technology certifications).
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information diplomatically and tactfully.
  • Other Skills: Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in utilizing standard office equipment. Attention to detail is crucial.
  • A positive credit standing.
  • Experience: Three to five years of relevant experience.
