Engagement Manager, Performance Operations

The Performance Practice is comprised of a full suite of Financial Performance Improvement, M&A Integration Support, Physician Enterprise Transformation, and Access & Service Innovation services to help our clients meet their financial and operational goals. Our Performance practice works with clients to transform financial, operational, and clinical performance.

• Coach and mentor junior staff, rapidly developing their skills and knowledge through an apprenticeship-based development model
• Lead the problem-solving process and day-to-day management of the engagement team, including overseeing the team’s analysis and deliverables
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients, drawing upon healthcare knowledge and insights
• Support the firm’s growth through contributions to talent initiatives, thought leadership development, and other areas
• Create sophisticated, compelling deliverables that motivate clients to action
• Manage the overall project, balancing work effort and input from clients and colleagues to achieve goals

• Advanced skills in MS Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
• At least 6 years of experience working with healthcare providers, including 2+ years managing others
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, able to share insights in a way that motivates clients to action
• Strong people leader, adept at managing team’s work while developing colleagues’ capabilities
• Motivated and driven by mission; genuinely seeks to materially impact healthcare for the better
• Strong entrepreneurial drive
• Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills
• Ability to travel as required
• Advanced degree preferred (e.g., MBA, MHA, MPH)
