Employment Office Clerk Jobs

The purpose of this position is to perform the processing and hiring of internal and external candidates to meet the staffing needs of Distribution, Manufacturing and Support areas of Publix Corporate. Which includes:

• Onboarding processing of applicants
• Handling calls pertaining to the online Talent Acquisition Gateway (TAG)
• Facilitating employment screening processes
• Coordinating the contingent workforce
• Providing premier customer service to hiring managers, department administrators and applicants
• Reverification of associates’ work authorization when the previous work authorization has expired or will be expiring
• Creating, monitoring and facilitating all activity related to job requisition

Required Qualifications:

• Problem solving skills
• Willingness to work a variable work schedule and
• Ability to maintain confidential and sensitive information involving internal/external applicants
• Analytical skills
• One year of general office experience
• High School Diploma or equivalent experience
• Strong verbal communication skills
• Basic knowledge of general office practices and procedures
• Good human relation skills (the ability to work well with other and be a team member).
• Working knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook
• Good human relation skills
• Organizational skills
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to work efficiently under time constraints
• Strong written communication skills
