Summary

Activities contributing to the design and development of products, solutions and systems. Includes activities linked to technical improvement of existing products and components Accountable for the quality of own work. Subject to direct operations supervision/prescribed work instructions/systems checking. Executes within a well-defined operations framework. There is generally a step by step sequence of standard operational tasks which need to be followed to achieve an end result.

Key Responsibilities:

Mechanical Design: Collaborate with senior engineers to develop and optimize mechanical designs for FACTS systems, ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards and project requirements. CAD Modeling and Drafting: Create detailed 3D models, assembly drawings, and part drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software to facilitate the manufacturing and installation process. Prototyping and Testing: Assist in the development and testing of prototypes, including conducting feasibility studies, performing measurements, and analyzing results to verify mechanical performance and functionality. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate documentation of design changes, technical specifications, and testing procedures. Prepare reports and presentations to effectively communicate findings and progress to the team and management. Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, project managers, and manufacturing personnel, to ensure seamless integration of mechanical components within the overall system design. Quality Assurance: Support the implementation of quality control processes, perform design reviews, and participate in risk assessments to ensure compliance with quality standards and mitigate potential risks. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for design optimization, cost reduction, and performance enhancement. Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to contribute innovative ideas and solutions.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Familiarity with mechanical analysis tools (e.g., Finite Element Analysis) is a plus.

The salary range for this position is 68,000 - 85,000 - 102,000 Annual. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for a performance bonus.
