ELECTRICAL SUPERVISOR

POSITION SUMMARY :

The Electrical Group Supervisor will oversee our team of Electronics Technicians. In this role you will be responsible for training and mentoring, creating work schedules, providing technical assistance and troubleshooting system issues. In addition, you will be required to maintain and repair equipment on-site. In fulfilling requirements of this position, you will exhibit strong leadership skills and have solid understanding of industrial electrical systems.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Develop and oversee preventative maintenance programs
• Develop and implement work schedules
• Ensure work is completed on schedule
• Repair/maintain electrical equipment
• Inspect and assess work performed by electrical staff
• Provide motivation and assistance to electrical technicians
• Implement and administer company policies
• Develop training schedules for electronics personnel
• Lead Root Cause Failure Analysis for electrical components
• Design/implement upgrades of process control equipment
• Troubleshoot system failures and equipment malfunctions
• Provide feedback on personnel performance
• Read and interpret schematics to ensure proper installation of electrical systems

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE :

• Strong leadership and managerial skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• In-depth knowledge of electrical systems
• Proven work experience as an electrical supervisor
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or Associates degree in electrical engineering with 5+ yrs. of experience in electrical field
