EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Technology or equivalent experience


EXPERIENCE: Minimum 5 years’ experience in aerospace and sand-casting foundry

General Description


Directs and coordinates activities with the sales / marketing department and assists the CEO & COO in formulating and administering all sales policies by performing the following duties personally or through reports.


Specific Duties


  • Manage and direct outside sales reps.
  • Manage and direct in-house sales personnel
  • Assume full and direct sales responsibility for certain, key, house accounts.
  • Negotiate short- and long-term pricing and contracts as required.
  • Author all major customer correspondence.
  • Attend customer seminars and trade shows as required.
  • Customer Maintenance
  • Prepare and maintain annual sales forecast, by customer and part number basis.
  • Identify and develop new potential customers for Wellman Dynamics.
  • Aware of new competitive advantages
  • Monthly review accounts receivable and recover delinquent payments.
  • Review job costs for profitability and recommend actions for negative performance.
  • Generate a 2–5-year plan of customers, parts, and revenue
  • Handle incoming customer calls and requests for information as needed.
  • Expedite delinquent deliveries.
  • Sustain open Billable tooling and NRE Report
  • Department Management
  • Lead the QRB process. (Quotation Review Board)
  • Hold status meetings as needed
  • Pulse on Department of Defense and Aerospace industry for new applications being developed.
  • Report to customers and needed
  • Marketing
  • Maintain open RFQ log and the status of each by stage
  • Recommend marketing strategies
  • Keep Wellman leadership appraised of all major, customer issues.
  • Settle customer disputes.
  • Continue to develop existing customer base.
  • Visit all major customers as needed.
  • Set measurables for each
