Job Description
This role is responsible for driving sales with Asia Pacific wholesale and franchise partners, accountable for achieving sales plan, merchandising objectives and implementation of strategies aligned with brand strategy and positioning.
Responsibilities:
  • Work together with partners on all seasonal orders to ensure both qualitative and quantitative elements are reached
  • Follow up after closing order on all details including shipping, reorder and manage all sell through and swap proposal
  • Ensure operation efficiency through partnership with Customer Service, Logistics and Corporate Planning team
  • Lead the partner to implement business development strategies and achieve short- and long-term goals according to the brand LRP for each market
  • Provide business reporting and presentations at the local and HQ level, including selling analysis, market context, and product feedback, etc.
  • Work closely with the partner and Marketing team in preparing the marketing plan to support the business strategy and align with brand equity and direction
  • Prepare buying forecast (EB) for each seasonal market
  • Proactive sharing of market intelligence with all related departments in NYC office (e.g. Merchandising, Marketing, Store design, etc.) to ensure regional needs are supported
  • Support MD in developing new markets
  • Communicate regularly with partners regarding pricing strategy including markdown and ensure they stay in line with brand direction and competitors
  • Represent APAC team in internal meeting during MD's absence
  • Build and maintain strong commercial relationships with franchise and wholesale partners across the region
  • Maximize both sell-in and sell-out figures based on key performance indicators (KPI) in partnership with partners, ensuring sales and open-to-by (OTB) targets are achieved
Qualifications:
  • Degree holder in business discipline.
  • Ability to think strategically and then follow up operationally
  • Self-motivated with excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, and influential skills
  • Strong computer literacy (Excel, Powerpoint) and numerical sense.
  • Minimum 10+ years relevant experience in wholesale/franchise within the luxury/contemporary fashion industry
  • Ability to multitask and work in a hands-on environment, entrepreneurial mindset
  • Good analytical ability with proven problem-solving skills
  • Strong understanding of the Asia Pacific market and culture
The salary for this position is $150,000-$170,000
