10+ years expert-level knowledge of program, project and change management and associated methodologies, techniques, processes and approaches.

5+ years strategic planning responsibility for a department, or organization.

Experience leading an IT PMO along with the skills to effectively manage a team and execute plans with a focus on quality.

Knowledge and experience with resource management and resource staffing best practices.

Knowledge and experience transforming PMO to agile, resource management and budget management.

ServiceNow experience as the central repository for demand, resource management, status reporting and Risk, Action items, Issues, and Decision (RAID) management.

Global Organization work experience

Agile certification

Knowledge of agile software development

Agile environment and experience with Agile development methodologies (i.e. Scrum, XP, Kanban, Lean, SAFe, etc)

Ability to coach large transformation programs.

Agile training and coaching

Insight Global is looking for a talented, driven and experienced Project Management Office leader reporting to the Senior Director of IT Delivery, Operations, and Office of CIO of a Fortune 500 global chemical and specialty materials company in Dallas, TX. In this role, you will lead the delivery of programs/projects for Global IT in support of the company's digital transformation and inorganic growth agenda. You will develop effective PMO plans for engaging stakeholders and working collaboratively across IT to identify and overcome potential obstacles. This leader will also be responsible for crafting the agile delivery approach for PMO and maturing the organization to deliver both waterfall and agile projects in parallel. The role is both delivery and strategic focused and will lead IT-PMO into the agile and digitization era.

The Leader will transform the PMO by

Delivery Methodology:

Work with the business to get buy-in and their commitment to the agile agenda.

Determine the company's agile approach and socialize it with the organization.

Ensure the underlying PMO processes can accommodate both waterfall and agile delivery approaches.

Align governance, controls, gates, approvals, etc. to the value proposition.

Optimize the existing waterfall methodology to ensure only value add activities.

Build an agile methodology congruent and customized to the company's ways of working.
