We are seeking for immediate hire a highly organized, dependable, and hands-onOperations Director to lead r.Cup's Washington DC wash hub.This leader will oversee thelocal team and be responsible for all operational aspects to ensure the seamlessexecution of the r.Cup reuse program.This role is ideal for a leader who is a self-starter, self-motivated, comfortable in an ever-changing and fast-pacedenvironment, and has an appetite for self-growth and continuous improvement.The Operations Director will report to the Chief Operating Officer (COO).

Key Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Forecast venue demand based on upcoming events and develop daily plans to ensure a steady supply of sanitized cups are available.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and organized wash hub.
- Monitor, analyze, and deliver wash hub KPIs and financial goals.
- Cultivate a cohesive and collaborative environment based on trust, empowerment, and accountability.
- Work closely with local Sales to set up new venue locations, including staff training, bin delivery and placement, container stocking, and signage production/placement.
- Represent r.Cup in a professional manner when client interactions are required.
- Oversee daily operations with a focus on inventory management, wash-cycleproductivity, staffing coverage, delivery and pickup logistics, scheduled maintenance of equipment and trucks, and all hub administrative activities.
- Maintain safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations.
- Analyze and propose methods of sustained quality and productivity increases
- Performs all aspects of team management including hiring, training, scheduling, annual performance reviews, coaching, and implementing corrective action plans for employees.
- Maintain accurate records of cup inventory to support customer invoicing.
Key Qualifications:
- Highly organized with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet competing demands in a fast-paced environment.
- Articulate, engaging and persuasive communication style.
- Exemplary verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Experience operating a pallet jack.
- Must be comfortable working in ambiguous and/or frequently changing
- Lean Six Sigma certification (preferred)
- Experience operating a box truck with a valid driver’s license and excellent driving record.

- Proven track record of process improvement and change management success.
