Position Title: Director, Digital Experience & Media (Remote Option) (ID: 230004GH)


Description


  • Develops and implement an overall communication strategy with plans, tools, and publications for an assigned area for both internal and external audiences.
  • Simplifies complex messages across multiple stakeholders.
  • Leads tactical execution of marketing/communications plans.
  • Prepares and executes event planning and event logistics.
  • Sets targets for data-driven decisions; compiles, analyzes, and utilizes metrics, data, and analytics.
  • Leads functional trainings, creates and delivers presentations.
  • Leads and coaches on project, account, and vendor management.
  • Develops short and long-term communications strategies and objectives.
  • Builds, leads, executes strategic communications planning (marketing promotional plan/communications plan).
  • Identifies and solves unique and complex problems across areas or functions.
  • Represents, adheres to, and champions Cummins brand.
  • Innovates and leads continuous improvement in their area of work.
  • Significantly impacts short and long-term goals and results across Cummins.
  • Builds, leads and strengthens relationships with stakeholders/leaders/vendors.

Education, Licenses, Certifications


  • College, university, or equivalent degree in communications, marketing, or a related subject required.
  • MBA, Master's in Communications, Master's in Marketing, or equivalent degree highly preferred.


Experience


  • Delivering world-class, large-scale, multi-language, performance critical web and digital projects on-time and on-budget. Responsive design experience and website redesign/UX experience required.
  • Demonstrating strong fluency in technical aspects of digital marketing tools and technology platform interfaces
  • Strategic digital marketing that demonstrates MROI
  • System integration/account management for marketing roles highly preferred.
  • Graphic design skills, visual communications channel capabilities highly preferred.
  • Recruiting and developing strong talent and building great teams
  • A successful candidate will have a proven track record of:
  • Digital experience highly preferred (emerging trends, digital for business, metrics, paid vs. organic, advertising content).
  • B2B experience highly preferred.
  • Experience developing and overseeing global Interactive Marketing plans with an understanding of online customer acquisition channels (e.g., Paid Media, Display Advertising, SEO/SEM, Social Media).
  • 6 Sigma, Value Stream Transformation, continuous improvement experience highly preferred.
  • The Director, Digital Experience & Media will manage and continually optimize Cummins.com and all paid media campaigns to drive engagement, qualified traffic, and leads. This is a key role in shaping our online customer experience and improving our future customer journey. He/she will provide web leadership, online search and paid media ownership, governance and oversight for all customer-facing online digital campaigns.
  • As a member of the Global Digital Marketing team, the Director, Digital Experience & Media leads the digital web experience and paid media functions at Cummins and is responsible for bringing strategic leadership to deliver on digital marketing initiatives across varied customer/end-user audiences to help drive demand, sales and brand loyalty.
  • Client/account management highly preferred.
  • Global perspective and experience highly preferred.


Addit Additional Experience


  • Experience working in web analytics, specifically GA, GA4, and GTM
  • Option for Remote work within US available.
  • Travel up to 25% required.
  • 15 years of Digital Marketing experience required (corporate websites, emerging trends, digital for business, metrics, paid vs. organic, advertising content).
  • Understanding of GDPR, web compliance, cookie compliance, privacy, and accessibility.
  • Experience working in various CMS’ on a global scale
