The Opportunity

What You'll Contribute
The DevOps Engineer will have a key role in managing infrastructure for the Scores Business Unit at FICO. The primary responsibility will be to provide strong technical support for infrastructure and security. Support will focus on maintaining current infrastructure, building new infrastructure, diagnosing problems, and addressing security issues.
  • Deliver full automation pipeline using CI/CD/DevOps concepts, tools and technologies.
  • Collaborate in a DevOps environment where you will work closely with developers in automating new applications, features, and services.
  • Research and implement automation tools to replace existing manual processes and maintenance tasks.
  • Collaborate with other engineers on design, analysis, architecture/modeling, implementation, unit testing, code reviews and process enhancements.
  • Assist in developing scripts to automate development operations functions or processes –Cloud Infrastructure Automation & Orchestration.
  • Optimize performance and scalability as necessary to meet business goals.
  • Support enterprise standards around technology, security compliance and systems interoperability for FICO products/solutions.
  • Deliver customer solutions using open source and commercial technologies.
What We’re Seeking
3+ years of experience in each of the following:
  • Experience analyzing and resolving performance, scalability, and reliability issues. Problem and incident diagnosis and resolution.
  • Administration of software repositories, such as Git/BitBucket.
  • Setup and maintain AWS IAM, AWS Cognito, AWS Cloud Watch
  • Support CyberSecurity scans and compliance audits
  • Proficient in scripting and one or more programming languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
  • Proficiency in supporting and maintaining Linux and Windows systems both on-premises and cloud based.
  • Support of Connect:Direct (NDM) and SFTP used for file transfers with clients.
  • Understanding of fundamental technologies like DNS, Load Balancing, SSL, TCP/IP, networking, and security best practices.
  • Strong team-player with good communication skills able to work internally and with clients.
  • Manage incident data to ensure that incident tickets are kept up to date, are closed when completed and to provide management with incident summary data as required.
  • Experience with AWS VPC networking and security; Creating domains, subnets, EC2 instances and networking components.
  • Experience with Infrastructure provisioning tools such as Docker, Kubernetes and Cloudify.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
  • Manage and run AWS infrastructure, application servers, web servers, databases, batch jobs, file transfers and monitoring tools.
  • Drive enterprise standards around technology, security compliance and systems interoperability
