Job Description

Position: Customer Care Specialist

Department: Marketing

Reporting to: VP of Digitial Marketing

Compensation: $15-$16/hour to start based on skills and experience

Location: Remote or Hybrid (Salt Lake City Home Office)

We are looking for a Customer Care Representative

As a Customer Care Representative, you will assist new and existing customers of MyPlanAdvocate in ensuring their satisfaction with the Medicare or insurance product they have selected from us and help foster ongoing retention efforts by addressing any issues, concerns, or questions customers may have regarding their benefits.

We are looking for someone who is genuinely excited to help customers and is comfortable getting to know them over an extended period when questions may arise, and they reach out to you. You should love to talk to people and understand the value of excellent communication. In this role, you will be charged with identifying and fixing issues before they happen.

Job Duties

  • Support inbound and outbound call efforts to existing customers. This is not a sales role. You will only be speaking with existing customers.
  • Handle customer complaints by providing solutions to their issues and follow up to ensure resolution.
  • Build sustainable relationships and trust with customers in order to encourage them to reach out to MyPlanAdvocate first before making any changes to their benefits.
  • Perform 1-day post sale outreach to customers to gauge their level of satisfaction with the buying experience. Point blank: You will be asking customers if they enjoyed working with their Licensed Medicare Agent and taking feedback good, bad, or ugly from them.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and customer issues in a fast-paced environment.
  • Support NPS (Net Promoter Score) efforts with customers by encouraging them to provide feedback on our levels of service.
