Marklund in Geneva is hiring a full-time Cook! $21.00/Hr.

Would you like to make a difference in the lives of others and be appreciated for what you do?

Join us in making everyday life possible for individuals with profound disabilities and love your job!

Marklund is seeking a highly motivated and mission-centered individual for the full-time position of Cook available at the Marklund Hyde Center in Geneva, IL. Hours are Monday-Friday from 7:00am-3:00pm (with an occasional weekend day).

Here is Jessica’s Story!

"When I first started at Marklund, I had no clue what to expect. I thought it would just be a job and nothing more. As I started working I got much more out of Marklund than just a job, I got a second family. I enjoy every day coming to work and caring for all the residents. Days when I work I walk in to my name being shouted with joy by some of the residents and that's an amazing feeling to know they are happy to see me. It may be hard work sometimes, but it's more than rewarding. Every day I see the smiles on the resident's faces and I know I'm doing a good thing. Marklund is way more than just a job, it's a fun place to work."
